KIND WORDS FOR JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES ESPECIALLY THE BEST ELDERS:  First, commendations for trying to do all you can to help the Little Ones and all of Jehovah's people.  Meaning this as well as possible, since you have seen it for yourselves, you do now know that despite what you were told Watchtower’s Governing Body men actually not only have made but --to be honest about it--keep making mistakes that severely hurt and stumble all too many among our innocent Jehovah's Witness men, women and children.  Paul said there's one faith, the then and now existing one overall faith for Christians, general Christianity with good, average and bad branches, wheat with weeds intertwined. Many also know there are also a lot of non-doctrinal churches including as to topics like the trinity, at most requiring belief that Jehovah’s Christ is one’s Lord and Savior for baptism.  We who write are independent but we believe you also deserve to know the truth about the non-Watchtower Bible Students who are not an “evil slave,” are in fact known for character building, acts of kindness and charity, conventions with lots of fun etc; the Pocket Dictionary of North American Denominations (2004, p 79; ed. Drew Blankman, Todd Augustine) estimates there are 60,000 worldwide. Present Truth February, 2006 pp 9-13 by Laymen’s Home Missionary Movement says 75,000 or less.  Thousands are believed in the U.S. although membership rolls and censuses aren't kept. With loving-kindness and Jehovah's blessing those numbers and greater happiness for them can grow ever faster and better. They allow great freedom to differ in beliefs but most believe in resurrection to heaven and earth, that Christ saves ALL from death (Jn 3:16; Ac 24:15); then after that first resurrection all are rightly taught and then those few who try to hurt others again will experience second death.   They use the Bible itself or more often do topical studies from Russell’s first 6 Studies In The Scriptures books, never the 7th which Rutherford had writers lace with ridiculous statements to be falsely blamed on Russell. Though defensive of Russell’s character, they no more idolize him or his books than Lutherans appreciate Luther’s writings.  Witnessing is to sanctify Jehovah God’s good name or person since His plan is for ALL to live again, not be cruel as critics unjustly maintain. Witnessing is mostly informal, at fair booths, via internet; some do choose to use scriptures or tracts at doors. They emphasize the Good News being “the Christian resurrection hope for ALL due to the ransom of Jehovah’s Son Jesus Christ.” (Jn 3:16, Ac 24:15). All reputable adult Christians are elders but groups may elect or appoint some for services such as weddings, funerals, charitable projects etc. They believe the prophecies about Israel apply to Israel rather than the Watchtower Society.  Since Paul says boast in the cross as it symbolizes Christ's victory over death, and forensics show a cross not a stake, it is a common emblem as with other Christians. They go by Paul saying do not let others judge if we are Christians based on if we do or don't celebrate holidays, each going by Bible trained conscience on those and also emergency use of blood for example since Jehovah forgave Saul's men who ate meat with blood to stay alive (1Sa 14:31-35), David for eating Temple bread, Christ said God wants Mercy not Sacrifice, (Mt 12:7) and he ate grain plucked on a Sabbath. Some believe Armageddon may be a series or part of a series of events teaching humanity to work together with one another and nature, though free to differ in views. (Ro 14:1-22)  Elders teach to seek wholesome association, use counsel and reproof about common vices, rarely feel need to disfellowship, and certainly not be extremist about it.  Yes, as with Christ and the apostles some wear beards; help their children go to college as is reasonable. As 2014 (1914+100 years) comes the truth is that elderly JW friends feel concerned, betrayed, disappointed, depressed; many young JWs exit confused, some agnostic-to-atheist.  However Love saves from crisis, reinvigorates.  So please pass along copies of this so that more who truly love Jehovah and His Christ will see they are not alone and there is hope for salvaging this situation so that all the years spent preaching and living as JWs are not totally lost.  You will be told the goal of this letter is to draw people to some other person or group but in fact it’s to help people go straight to Jehovah’s Christ and the Bible, from darkness to light!  Please mail/email copies of this today.
