Marvin Shilmer who supplied copies of the items above also has a copy on his website of a passport of Charles Taze Russell but it was not until Rutherford's time that Watchtower began telling Jehovah's Witnesses that God disapproves of oaths or pledges of allegiance.  As you can see the Watchtower Presidents haven't abided by the same laws that they have imposed on regular JWs, and which JWs must go by or else be disfellowshipped (severely shunned) and falsely labeled "apostates."

MAX LARSON: A now confirmed report came in 2010 that long-time Watchtower heavy Max Larson had died.   He started working for Watchtower in their Brooklyn, New York (USA) complex in 1938.  At death he was President and Director of one of their main corporations, the one called Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc., surpassed in clout only by the New York corporate branch.  During World War II he several times quietly went to Washington, D.C. and successfully talked War Production boards and Senators into allowing Watchtower to use supplies including paper that otherwise would have gone to the U.S. military for war maps, U.S. currency, military letterhead, etc, which Larson said was part of "Jehovah's blessing."  In exchange Watchtower assisted in the war effort by "control of information" communicated to the American public, just one example of how Watchtower pretends to be neutral in government affairs and "no part of this world." Surviving Max Larson as other officials for the WBTS of New York Inc are: John D. Larson (Vice President, Director and apparent successor residing at Wallkill, NY), Gerald F Simonis (Treasurer, Secretary and Director), and Directors Gary N Breaux (residing at Patterson, NY) and Gerald D. Grizzle.  Max Larson had sometimes clashed with Don Adams who is President of the Governing Body while his brother Joel heads up the secretive Service Department giving orders to Elders and micro-managing the hierarchial organization.  More will posted here as details and overall verification may come in later so please return.  Checking with veromi.com shows that he is apparently survived by a wife, and a number of children or grandchildren.  His corporate successor John D. WATCHTOWER AND STOCK IN MILITARY AND TOBACCO INDUSTRIES IT DIDN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT Watchtower's stock ownerships have as documents prove involved military equipment and cigarettes.  However it is also very likely that also involve items that have appeared in Watchtower's Awake! magazine.  For example friendly articles have been written then distributed to millions around the earth concerning copper mining, goat cheese, and aircraft.  It is also said that in the stock market crash of 2008 or so, the Watchtower lost heavily.  One possibility is that they invested in the fraudulent Ponzzi scheme of Bernard Madoff, and if so that money will never come back.
