AN IDEA
TO DO OR AT LEAST PASS ALONG FOR THOSE WHO CAN: Consider this, wait quietly till the very end of the concluding prayer
at a Watchtower meeting, then quickly stand and clearly say "Go to ChristianWitnesses.com." Once the curious get
there they can learn tons of information. Watchtowers' brain-washing spell over a lot of people can removed
really fast that way. Your giving the announcement won't be disturbing the peace because
the meeting just ended and that's all you have to say, after which you can walk right out the door smiling and happy to
know you did your part. Use a calm but clear voice, no yelling at all. Also if you prefer to
use another site's name such as FreeMinds.org, that's okay too although I think ChristianWitnesses.com is even
easier to remember. An alternative is to hold a sign with "Christianwitnesses.com loves JWs" on it where people
inside cars entering and exiting a kingdom hall, assembly or convention will see it.

SHORT NEWS RELEASE (193 WORDS)
FOR ANY INTERESTED MEMBERS OF THE PRESS: Numerous former Jehovah’s Witnesses have begun peaceful international protesting
under the theme of “Jehovah’s Witnesses Discriminate Against ExJWs.” Led by Sebastian Ramos of northeastern
Brazil, participants are from the U.S., Italy, Canada, Trinidad & Tobago, and the U.K. Their objective is to educate
the Public of their contention that policies of the Watchtower Society over JWs violates not only national laws but also Article
18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Joe Emerson, a U.S.-based helper via Facebook, says the protests are
ongoing by a community suffering decades from being institutionally hated by Watchtower and in cruel manner deprived via threat
of coercive ostracism from giving or receiving normal contact with family, friends and business associates. Concern
became especially heightened after a 2010-released Watchtower manual revealed moves to clamp down even harder against the
community. He says Watchtower has written that not only those with a vice such as smoking but also conscientious dissenters
over beliefs who leave the organization are designated evil “apostates” whom JWs are to severely ostracise and
hate or be themselves so treated, and he provides quotes from Watchtower’s own articles: For additional information, photos etc, see http://christianwitnesses.com/id346.html

SUBJECT: INTERNATIONAL PROTESTING FOR: THE
PUBLIC AND MEDIA
During late 2010 through 2011 former Jehovah's Witnesses and Friends
(Brazil, US, Canada, Tobago & Trinidad, the U.K. etc) protested the Watchtower Society over Jehovah's Witnesses
for destroying families and lives. Used were banners like those seen here in photos, sample protest letters with
handy addresses, TV and radio news in some nations, especially Brazil and Italy. The chief objective was to begin
making clear to that the Watchtower Society heads over Jehovah's Witnesses promotes cruel discrimination.
These protest demonstrations are done with loving intent and in truth to expose not "shunning"
per se which the U.S. Supreme Court has already ruled as permissible, but rather discrimination against an entire class
of people, those who have peacefully dissented and left the Watchtower Society over Jehovah's Witnesses and in retaliatory
consequence as promoted by Watchtower been cruelly, ostracised by those family members, friends and business
associates still remaining with the Watchtower Society over Jehovah's Witnesses. The fruits of this extreme
hate policy have resulted in people sometimes suiciding, often not speaking for decades.
Active Jehovah's
Witnesses themselves are discriminated against by their own top leadership at the start of 2011 consisting of seven
members of an international board called the Governing Body located currently in Brooklyn, New York. Watchtower teaches
Jehovah's Witnesses to discriminate against former Jehovah's Witnesses in violation of the Universal Declaration
of Human Rights as seen here: Article 18.- Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public
or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.
As writer Stephen E Lucas has noted, "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" is one of the most famous phrases in the United States Declaration of Independence and considered by some as part of one of the most well crafted, influential sentences in the history of the
English language.[1] These three aspects are listed among the "unalienable rights" or sovereign rights of man. Therefore, Watchtower's discrimination also violates these unalienable
rights of man.
The extreme nature of Watchtower's discrimination has far more than a dampening affect on both
Jehovah's Witnesses and former Jehovah's Witnesses. It is a tool of tyranny that enables Watchtower for
example to utterly snuff out basic constitutional rights in not only the U.S. but nations around the globe, for example the
right to vote for better representation. Using this policy and hate tool also enables Watchtower to coerce
all Jehovah's Witnesses to not take even emergency blood transfusions to stay alive, hence the depriving of right to life.
Jehovah's Witnesses deserve as do all citizens in the U.S. and globally to enjoy freedom to exit the Watchtower
organization without retaliation. Currently Watchtower's ploy is to dismissively say "well, they are free to
go" without admitting that Watchtower employs follow-up punishment that gravely affects not only Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses
but those remaining as active members. Thus it harms its own members who however are not free to speak out for if they
do then they too become discriminated against.
The Watchtower Society similarly seeks to keep hiding behind guise of religious freedom as if it were
without natural bounderies while denying such freedom to its members and former members. The U.S. Supreme court
ruled concerning polygamy during the late 1800s that while Mormons have a constitutional right to different views they do
not have a right to disobey the law. Further, common sense shows there are natural, balanced limits on what a religious
organization can do in human society as when religious human sacrifices are not permitted under the law of the land, and it
is fact that continously the courts have rightly stepped in and protected the lives of children whose lives are imperiled
at times in groups such as Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Scientology etc.

|
| Watchtower, January, 1993, page 19. Can reasonable readers conclude other than this teaches hate? |
|

|
| The Watchtower, October 1, 1952, page 599 shows consistency of hate over the decades. |
|
In the 1940's attorneys acting for Watchtower won a fine reputation of championing rights for a minority
religion but thereafter Watchtower has sought to mute all internal dissent as when for one example Watchtower harmed Bill
Bowen and Barbara Anderson after they spoke out against Watchtower's policies weighed heavily for sheltering
and protecting pedophiles instead of protecting the children of Jehovah's Witnesses and the Public. See
http://www.silentlambs.org. And as a further example they are alleged to be into heavy electronic surveillance
of people even in the bedrooms, corridors, and parking lots at its world headquarters in Brooklyn and upstate New York buildings.
People deserve the right to believe as they wish even as the law says but it also says they are to obey the laws of
the land. If a religion is not seen to obey the law then the recourse is to existing law, if there is enough money to
seek redress via the courts, and if not with the needed money then to protest and demonstrate long enough to educate the Public.
That's what is therefore being done in a very natural way as seen here on this webpage and also in the real-world where
an entire class of people are being unlawfully discriminated against.

LETTER IN FROM SOME WHO HAVE PROTESTED WATCHTOWER DISCRIMINATION
IN LOS ANGELES
Hi Joe!
Yesterday, a couple of friends and I, in the Los Angeles area, at a local Kingdom Hall, had the opportunity
to express our concerns to 3 individuals, who had taken interest to inquire about our signs and the reason why we were there.
"Jehovah's Witnesses break families apart," was the focal point of our conversations with them.
The first person had not attended church in 15 years; parked his car right in front of us, took pictures of the signs, and
jotted down the site, freeminds, and took my card, for further inqury. Then, he attended the meeting at the Kingdom Hall,
out of sheer curiosity. He returned to let me know that he would definitely get in touch with us.
The second person,
who regularly attends the meetings, approached us, we talked extensively with him and we left him with a leaflet, to log on
to freeminds. The elders begged him to come inside...without success.
The third person lives next to the KH, but
would never return. He reason...they break families apart!
We took pictures
with my new camera but I will post them once I'm familiar with the features to down load.
During the
summer, we will be at the Sports Arena, in Long Beach, to do the same thing.
We hope to get similar results.
Regards,
Victor

USEFUL, USABLE PAGE OF GENUINE HISTORICAL NATURE ALSO
INSPIRATIONAL FOR THE FUTURE
In December 2010 Roberto di Stefano brought together former Jehovah's
Witnesses in Rome, Italy, to protest how Watchtower has Jehovah's Witnesses cruelly discriminate against former Jehovah's
Witnesses.
Even earlier Sebastian Ramos of Italy had engaged Watchtower in a lawsuit as its discrimination
violates Brazil's Constitution which is against religious discrimination and for that matter also violates the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights (Sections 18; 20, subsection 2).
When asked by email how friends in the United
States could help Sebastian suggested they join in the Day against Religious Discrimination that Brazil has each January
21 starting in 2011.
Joe Emerson of the U.S. publicized Sebastian's idea on Facebook and the idea
quickly inspired many to participate there and in additional lands such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago.
Such international cooperation was also important for promoting still more international cooperation.
This page presents that first ever international protest as the historical event that it was but many future readers
are also likely to find it inspirational for their own efforts. You see, all indications are that Watchtower's
severity in shunning and discrimination after leaving Watchtower will become worse.
The protest
and demonstrations efforts for justice by Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi were not one-time efforts but encompassed
a number of years. So too, when the final sentence of this effort as an ongoing battle is written, it too shall have
entailed much time, sweat and effort, especially so as it is international in scope.
Non-violent and seeking
only that which is just, we can and we too definitely shall be fully victorious. That's a fact for the Public shall
know what's going on. Every day the discrimination continues, the misleadership over Watchtower destroys the image
of their own organization, hurts more people and makes the public even more aware of what they are doing.
Now for
some of the afore-said history you too are welcome to learn from and use:

can make your own, get them elsewhere or call him at 508 572-5599
PASS ON THIS
OR A LINK TO IT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE PLEASE TO YOUR EX-JEHOVAH”S WITNESS FRIENDS AND FRIENDSHIP GROUPS:
Sebastian Ramos from Brazil is asking for us in the U.S.,
Canada etc to also peacefully, legally protest against Watchtower on January 21, 2011. In Brazil
that's already an international anti-discrimination day so ideal for Ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses and Friends worldwide.
Those who participate can include
at least one sign (or if mailing protest letters text) saying: "Jehovah's Witnesses discriminate against Ex-members!
(freeminds.org)" Randy Watters has freeminds.org and says it’s fine and great for us to
have his website included on signs or letters. Heidi L. Nordberg, Rick Fearon and others are also helping.
Protesting is good all times (including Memorial) but let's please do our part for January 21, 2011, also.
Signs/letters/leaflets about other concerns such as the blood issue (watchtowerlawsuit.com) or Watchtower’s hiding
and sheltering pedophiles are also excellent.
Examples of signs besides the main one (“JWs discriminate against ex-members”): “JW kids
are still bleeding to death! (watchtowerlawsuit.com)” and “Watchtower enables pedophiles! (silentlambs.org).”
Bill Bowen of silentlambs and Lawrence Hughes of watchtowerlawsuit appreciate their sites being mentioned too.
If some of you on the East and West coasts
in particular would like to be part of group protesting by the holding of banners at busy city intersections or the like,
please let me, Joe, know. Ex-JW friend Rick Fearon has some extra banners he made and while they last will
send them to you and others. I’ve already had people asking for some so please let me know now if
you also want some.
And/Or you can also
make signs of posterboards, inexpensive butcher paper etc. Inform the police well in advance of your plans
so that they will know and can tell you of any needed requirements, suggestions etc. Laws can vary locally and
from nation to nation and you assume your own responsibility for being informed and how you act.
Although each participating person or group acts on his, her or
their own worldwide we all definitely benefit from the encouragement and inspiration from Sebastian Ramos and his friends
taking the lead from Brazil, the land with the second largest group of JWs in the world. Note: Sebastian
requests that those who use signs and banners please take photos or videos. That way if he receives a copy he can
show it to people in Brazil (former Jehovah's Witnesses, news reporters, legislators etc), and it will encourage them
there also.
To find myself, on Facebook.com search for "J. Mason Emerson,"
direct email me at jmasonemerson@yahoo.com and put "PROTEST" in the subject field; or to phone, use 913 492-1564
and ask for Joe. I’m in Central Standard Time in metropolitan Kansas City in the United States.
Stay peaceful, lawful, and let’s get it done!
Again, please pass this along.
J Mason
Emerson or simply “Joe” Glad to be part of the larger movement against Watchtower discrimination and
human rights abuses
ANSWERS TO MORE QUESTIONS
Question: Some
who are still exiting Watchtower are not yet totally out of it and would like to participate but are concerned that they will
be discovered by Watchtower spies, reported and disfellowshipped with permanent loss of socializing with family still in it.
What can be done?
Answer: They can write and mail protest letters or wear masks if they like.
No one should criticise anyone who is acting to save his/her marriage, friendships etc.
Question: Are there any T-shirts?
Answer: Those and other similar items are good but you
will need to find and buy them on your own. A good thing to put on a shirt for example would be "I
marched in protest of Watchtower discrimination against Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses" and/or "JWs discriminate
against Ex-members!"
Silentlambs.org has T-shirts, coffee cups, bumper stickers, door stickers etc
about itself, and for example Silentlambs exposes Watchtower hiding pedophiles among Jehovah's Witnesses.
Click the following link to see the Silentlambs items:
http://silentlambs.org/store/index.cfm
Questiion: Where is a good place to demonstrate when there is a group?
Answer: You may think it's in front of a kingdom hall but in this particular demonstration the message
is for THE PUBLIC. Therefore find a public sidewalk where two streets with heavy traffic meet. It is good to have leaflets with a few words on them and a website people can go to for more information.
In particular if you plan to march on a street you must get prior permission from police. Contact police
well in advance to see if there any restrictions of any sort; but mostly you will find they are more than happy to work with
you. Be prepared with alternative plans if the weather is too bad, especially if in a region of much snow.
Have a restaurant, house or other place where you and others can meet before and afterward to talk about things and exchange
ideas etc for another time.
QUESTION: Is it legal to put protest literature in car windshields?
ANSWER: In January 2011 a friend checked with London police and was told it is okay there. Looking around worldwide
in some other places and lands it might be if the cars are not on private property. However the cars of other people
are their property, not yours, and in the United States in many communities even if the cars are in a public location
such as along a public street, it's still considered illegal at least in some communities.
This
is true even though at times people come out of a store and find literature in a windshield, as many of
us have. So all in all, it depends on where you are. Check with police and then you will know for
sure. I have read that throughout the state of New York it's not legal though as said, probably in most all if not
all other states it's a community-by-community matter.
Again, to get a clear correct answer inquire
of local police or, say, a city attorney whom you may find at a city hall.

LEAFLET INFORMING
THE PUBLIC: The Watchtower Society (WTS) over Jehovah’s
Witnesses discriminates and destroys the lives of people who speak against its policies such as hiding and sheltering
over 23,000 pedophiles in the U.S. alone and telling JWs, JW kids and the Public they need to not get emergency blood transfusions
so that an estimated up to 200,000 JWs and JW kids have died worldwide since 1945. WTS' own Watchtower magazine
(Oct 1, 1993) says those who "reject Jehovah's organization" deliberately choose badness, are apostates (=anti-God);
and true Christians (JWs obedient to WTS) must "feel a loathing" toward such enemies of God. WTS has defended
JWs obedient to it in courts but tried to shut up those dissenting peacefully, and people have also lost their families
and livelihoods after hateful discrimination called disfellowshipping has been enacted. Freely make and
share copies of this.

LETTER TO EDITORS... IT WON'T REACH
ANY UNLESS YOU HELP BY SENDING OR HANDING THEM A COPY
Dear Editor, On
January 21, 2011 Ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses and Friends around the globe will be peacefully, lawfully protesting
with signs and banners against discrimination from the Watchtower Society (WTS) over JWs. More details on this event
(to be annual) are at christianwitnesses.com where see “DEMONSTRATIONS.” This is not against regular JWs or right
to freedom of religion as Watchtower will suggest but rather against the discrimination WTS’s top leaders use to persecute
Ex-members of JWs. We too have rights: the right to Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness without such
cruel discrimination thrust on us after leaving WTS. JWs quitting WTS are shunned so cruelly they have had families
destroyed and some have committed suicide. Human rights groups, workers, churches etc are also welcome to participate
in these peaceful, lawful demonstrations. How? Inform police in advance, use banners and leaflets on public sidewalks
at traffic intersections. This idea came from Sebastian Ramos, an ExJW leading against WTS discrimination in n.e. Brazil.
The weather will be cold here in the U.S. but we’ll be doing our part too.

The Internet is still important, however it has
no power to move legal and governmental authorities, above all inform about the ongoing discrimination. We have observed that
employers do not heed requests via the Internet, is not it? They only answer to our requests when we are seen deployed, actively
participating in meetings, public events, etc, etc. It is not possible for an organization like the Watchtower Society to
perpetually discriminate against humans worldwide with no reaction whatsoever.

BRAZILIAN
FORMER JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES FIGHTING FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AGAINST WATCHTOWER SOCIETY OVER JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. THEY
ASK YOU TO LEND SUPPORT. HERE'S HOW.
Sebastian
Ramos was a Jehovah's Witness in northeastern Brazil who used to write letters to editors of internet newspapers
in defense of the Watchtower Society over Jehovah's Witnesses. However, the Watchtower Society disfellowshipped
(severely shunned) him for doing so because they insist only their official spokesmen are allowed to do that. So
disfellowshipping is a type of excommunication that isolates people from family and friends to such an extent some victims
have even suicided. Other
former Jehovah's Witnesses in Brazil came to support the cause against the Watchtower Society after Sebastian
Ramos began a lawsuit. Billboards in Brazilian cities are now telling what happened. Not just Jehovah's
Witnesses and former Jehovah's Witnesses are interested, but so are regular citizens and human rights activists. The Watchtower
Society's defendants' attorneys have tried to block the lawsuit but it is now heading toward the Supreme Court. The
lawsuit by Sebastian Ramos contends that the Watchtower Society's policy of disfellowshipping outright violates article
14 of Law Code 7.716/89, the federal Constitution of Brazil and the Univeral Declaration of Human Rights. Realizing
the international importance of this issue, Sebastain Ramos now asks that readers about it please send copies
to news editors and other persons so that they will also know what is happening. Disfellowshipping effects
not only former Jehovah's Witnesses in Brazil but doubtlessly, for example, hundreds of thousands in the United States
and millions around the globe. Besides the billboards, they have also taken the information campaign to people on the boulevards
and in public squares, used tracts, distributed thousands of copies of texts published in newspapers, used sound truck,
and formed an inter-religious forum for supporters and participants in the fight against discriminatory disfellowshipping. Disfellowshipped
and disassociated people are now organized in all states of Brazil in the fight for their rights. It is no coincidence that
prosecutors feel accountable to the call for justice.
Support has come for example from authorities and institutions such
as the Human Rights Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, the Mayor of Fortaleza and alderman John Alfred, vice president
of that institution, and especially the office of Frei Tito de Alencar linked to the Human Rights Commission of the Legislative
Assembly of Ceará. Their lawyers now see themselves as private prosecutors in the judicial process.
Sebastian Ramos says “I already feel victorious for having denounced [the violations] as
[a] great affront to human dignity...... For those who suffer from this violence, a message: Heads up! Courage! "Great
Walks begin with small steps." (Oriental Proverb.) He concludes an appeal for our assistance by signing it as Sebastian
Ramos, Federal Public Servant (UFC): sebastianramos7@gmail.com So how might you the readers
show support and help out? One way is to inform news reporters in your various nations as quickly as possible.
Another way would be to email supportive letters to his email address and saying in those that he has your permission to show those to others including
officials in support of his efforts and to state that his cause is not just for helping Brazilians but yourselves and others
worldwide.

SEBASTIAN RAMOS LEADS FIGHT WORLDWIDE AGAINST WATCHTOWER'S DISCRIMINATION (January 21, 2011 is coming!)
|
|
|
In Brazil the date January
21, 2011 is an international anti-discrimination day. Those
who participate can include at least one sign (or if mailing protest letters text) saying: "Jehovah's Witnesses discriminate
against Ex-members! (NAME OF WEBSITE OF YOUR CHOICE)" Protesting is good all
times (including Memorial) but let's please do our part for January 31, 2011, also. If some of you on the East and West coasts in particular
would like to be part of group protesting by the holding of banners at busy city intersections or the like, please let me,
Joe, know. To find me on Facebook.com search for "J. Mason
Emerson" or else direct email me at jmasonemerson@yahoo.com and put "PROTEST" in the subject field. If you
need a banner I may be able to put you in touch with a friend who has some already made and free or will tell you how to make
banners inexpensively, easily.

The photos and vocal tone convey the basic meaning though the words are spoken in Brazilian Portugese; Key Message: join us
in battling Watchtower's discrimination!
INTERVIEW
WITH SEBASTIAN RAMOS – PLEASE DISTRIBUTE AND POST EVERYWHERE The following is an interview for Six Screens (sixscreensofthewatchtower.com) and ExJWs around the globe.
Sebastian has been leading the battle against the discrimination that comes from the Watchtower Society against ex-Jehovah’s
Witnesses in northeastern Brazil, and he includes ideas here for how we in other lands can do the same including special activities
on January 21, 2011: 1. To begin, Sebastian, can you tell our
listeners some things about yourself? For example, where were you born? What is your age? What kinds of
work and social causes have you helped with in the past? When did you and other family members become Jehovah’s
Witnesses? Did you lose a lot of family members after the Watchtower Society disfellowshipped you? Answer: First I would like to thank all who access the Six Screens of the Watchtower,
and to thank you for the kindness in contacting and providing this interview opportunity. I was born in northeastern Brazil
in Ceará State which is well known abroad for its beautiful beaches. Today I am 52 years old, and from my youth been
active in trade union militancy. I am of humble origins, and at age 22, I left my provincial city to come to Fortaleza, the
capital of my state. Among other things I have held the position of director of educational policy and unions within the Union
of Civil Servants of the UFC – the Federal University of Ceará, when dealing with issues of a social nature.
I joined Jehovah's Witnesses in 2001, and among other people conducted a study with a sister who is still there, and that
without any doubt is my biggest loss since leaving. Besides this biological sister, I lost many friends,
after all, I was the victim of what is one of the greatest absurdities committed by the Watchtower Society, its hateful discrimination. 2. Why did you quit Watchtower? Answer: That’s easy to explain: The Watchtower Society has as one of its main
foundations, the total and unequivocal subservience of its members, what they preach and distribute; it does not allow any
of its followers freedom to analyze, have their own views, any independent insights, and in everything, and here I must repeat,
in everything, everything must be done in accordance with what the organization requires; and here without any fear of making
a mistake, I include one’s own thinking, the imagination of its followers. I have always enjoyed writing, I began to
publish articles in the Brazilian media, related to biblical themes, and incredible as it may seem, even though in accord
with the teachings of the Watchtower Society, was the target of disfellowshipping. I was under the impression
that it was at the direction of the Watchtower Society, that it was afraid of me, of my starting to analyze Bible texts, of
my doing so alone, and publishing my results which in the future could identify any contradictions about what they were preaching,
the citing of biblical passages, for example, a matter that could be dished out on former members, something totally apart
from any divine or human purpose.
3. How have you felt since
the disfellowshipping? What was the reasoning for elders in disfellowshipping you? Answer: I felt betrayed, stabbed in the back because all my biblical texts addressed
issues from the standpoint of the Watchtower Society, none of them raising questions about what the Watchtower Society preached.
My writings reinforced the interpretation of the Bible made by the Watchtower Society. This feeling of betrayal is reinforced
when we look back and see my commitment, my dedication, my personal delivery, on behalf of the Watchtower Society, including
taking the people to my bosom, a biological sister, among others. I suffered from depression, discouragement, disappointment,
and I've been ignored, despised, and finally, suffered the effects of abhorrent discrimination. The elders claimed that
I, in writing to the media, was disregarding orders from the Watchtower Society, considering it had already warned me that
I should stop the production of such texts. 4. When do you believe that the Supreme Court of Brazil will hear this case of discrimination by the Watchtower Society
against former Jehovah's Witnesses? For example, do you think it will be more likely to happen in 2011, 2012 or when? Answer: First to clarify what goes on here
in Brazil, there is a specific law that criminalizes all forms of discrimination, including of course religious
discrimination. For our laws, the Watchtower Society’s treatment of people, which discriminates against former members,
is criminal. That's why the Public Prosecutor (the holder of criminal actions) sees to punishment of those who are charged.
Two lawyers for the elders who are so charged scored a judicial victory in my state, but the Attorney General took the case
to our Supreme Court, which as it gathers actions throughout Brazil, is overloaded and so I can not predict a date for the
matter to be discussed and decided there. Here in Brazil there are many civil and social demonstrations, to praise, support,
and applaud the stance of the prosecutor, so we are hopeful that this discussion will shortly be before the staff of our Supreme
Court. I have reports that several people are in movement, not just for getting those who discriminate to answer criminally,
but also, as may be ordered, to pay compensation for the moral and material damages arising from such discrimination.
In this case, even the Watchtower Society would have to pay damages. 5. Ex Jehovah's Witnesses in the United States have also suffered cruel shunning,
sometimes harassment, spying and threats. Please tell our listeners a few details about what you and our friends in Brazil
are facing from foes there. What kind of pressure have placed on you? Answer: We suffer all kinds of pressure. Sometimes covertly, sometimes openly. We have reports of former members
who had the impression that they were being followed, others noticing anonymous telephone threats. I have suffered direct
personal threats and on two occasions, while participating actively in public demonstrations, from entities of the the Ceara
Forum of Religious Diversity. This action to intimidate, at one time or another has contributed to some
ex-members giving up their militancy. Recently some Watchtower Society men armed with cameras, were photographing our banners
that we had put in some places, as well as inquired of residents as to their motives about the demonstrating, clearly intimidative
posturing. Still, we continue distributing leaflets to people in general, leaving them in the windshield of vehicles, at homes,
and points of heavy traffic. Many people who receive our brochures, sympathize with our movement and pass around photocopies
to others who also distribute them. 6.
Can you suggest some ways for those of us who are ex-Jehovah's Witnesses in the United States, Europe and other nations
to help you on this important issue that affects all ex-JWs around the earth? Answer: My modest suggestion is that we all unite, combine efforts in
order to spread the idea that similar discrimination for any reason whatsoever, is conduct that should not be adopted, much
less encouraged. Spread upon the four corners of the planet, we are all, regardless of our skin color, social status, sexual
preference, religious preference, language, political inclination, in short, everyone of us is a human being who deserves
to be treated as a human, as a neighbor.
It isn’t enough to have a cry of revolt here, another there, but we are all victims of discrimination,
we have to offer a hand and together with one voice, embrace the planet and shout out: I AM A PERSON, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO
BE TREATED AS SUCH, AND I DEMAND THAT RIGHT. And that outcry shall echoe in all minds, in all countries, in all governments
in all plenary sessions of international organizations, until one day the United Nations, starts to require compliance with
its resolutions related to the theme of discrimination against people around the world. 7. Here some ex-Jehovah's Witnesses read and discuss the Bible and enjoy fellowship after
leaving the Watchtower Society. We do this based on love instead of having the same opinions about everything.
There are meetings via phone or in house churches. Has anyone already started a similar arrangement in Brazil?
Are Protestant or Catholic churches helping in any way? Answer: This is also going well here. To continue studying the Bible, ex-members meet in homes, churches,
others do it alone. It is certain that there are former members attending Catholic churches and evangelical
churches. What I crave is that regardless of where they are studying the Bible, we do not forget that every day, worldwide,
people are leaving the ranks of the Watchtower Society, and they are beginning a dramatic experience of depression,
humiliation, psychological torture, putting it into a few words: hateful discrimination. 8. The year 2014 will be one hundred years since 1914. We
already see the Watchtower acting more and more paranoid here in the United States. Do you also see more
paranoia by the Watchtower Society there in Brazil?
Answer: Paranoia is a constant in the minds of those who direct the Watchtower Society.
Some have already guaranteed dates for the arrival of Armageddon, and it never came about. I have a friend who pokes fun at
this, saying that he has already had direct contact with Armageddon, and he assures us that we can just forget about her,
because she’ll never come. I have no doubt that proximity to the year 2014 will be used to put fear in people's
heads in order to get them to join the ranks of the Watchtower Society, where they would be guaranteed security. Incidentally,
shortly after a great world tragedy, like the attack of September 11, leaders of the Watchtower Society can gather more people,
always under the argument that this or that event, would signal the arrival of Armageddon.
9. Not much surprises us
these days. Have any of you been followed or been the victims of physical violence? Also, do any of you believe that fanatics
favoring the Watchtower Society are using wiretaps? Answer: No doubt high technology may be being used to track our movements, our ideas,
our next steps. The leaders of the Watchtower Society are experienced men who know that a little cry, if repeated several
times, can become a great shout, and maybe a flag, to liberate those who suffer discrimination on religious issues. And to
avoid damage, there is no hesitation to use whatever is necessary to silence those who dare denounce this crime that has for
years been openly perpetrated in Brazil.
10. If you have more rallies or demonstrations can you have a friend or friends put a copy of the events as a video
on youtube.com, with permission for us to dub it into English and distribute copies to others including news people? Answer: Since I started my journey against religious discrimination that is led by the Watchtower, I have always proceded
to disclose matters, and I have always made it clear that the material may be freely accessed and disclosed. You of Six Screens
of the Watchtower, as indeed with all people interested in the subject, can make use of the material I have posted on the
Internet. You can dub it, translate it, and finally, you are authorized to put it out there without restriction. 11. Do we have permission to share copies of what you are
saying with others? And do we have permission to use it in whatever way seems best to inform people more about what you're
doing about Watchtower discrimination against the all of us? Answer: As already stated, permission for this is total and there’s
no concern about material which may be produce related to the topic of discrimination with a religious nature. Incidentally,
I am putting at the end of this a presentaton, several links where interested parties can access material related to the subject,
including matters related to the one described in this interview, such as published texts, which have signified the wrath
of the Watchtower leadership, among other matters.
12. We know that things such as posters or billboards and banners cost some money. Do you accept donations of money
for help with the costs? Most of us do not have much money, but your cause is our cause too, so if you're accepting such
donations, how can people donate to help? Answer: No doubt production of publicity materials does cost money. In addition to billboards, banners,
posters, flyers, and banners, I have used T-shirts, and plan bandanas, caps, badges, stickers and other materials.
Also I travel about a good amount participating in events related to the discrimination of people, often using word
of mouth. Aiming to solidify this trend, lately I've been thinking of creating a corporation, nonprofit,
with a board and elected office for the right time, to channel this effort toward promoting awareness that people can not
discriminate against others, regardless of excuses. Yes I accept donations, and thank those in advance
willing to work with this fight; for this I provide the account number 799.788-4, agency 2925-4, of the Bank of Brazil, which
is in my title. Any transfer of securities may be done in the Brazilian bank branches abroad, and they shall have as their
final destination the struggle for this movement.
13. Can you tell us some things about some of the other ex-Jehovah's Witnesses helping you with banners, posters,
brochures, etc.? That way we can see and get a better feel for them too. One a banner with writing about donating blood
in front of a blood donation center, two of the people are disfellowshipped. One wearing a white-colored hospital gown, and
there’s another who’s well-known, that is Naib Pascoal, who has long participated in a Brazilian forum of great
influence among former members of the Watchtower Society, which is at the internet website http://www.extestemunhasdejeová.net and he also maintains a blog that is at
http://extestemunhasdejeova.blogspot.com/ 14. We know you have an email sebastianramos7@gmail.com Do you have any plans for a website? Answer: My idea is to create a legal entity, and after that create a
site for that entity so as to facilitate the dissemination of material related to religious discrimination. My
purpose is to add strength to the different pages that already disclose material on the subject, creating a space to discuss,
disseminate, and share material and ideas on religious discrimination from the direction of the Watchtower Society, such as
relevant news, for example. The recent decision by a State Court (Sao Paolo), was to send on for a People's Court a case
involving three members of the Watchtower Society who had not allowed a blood transfusion for a 13-year-old girl, the result
being that she died.
15.
How could we develop a coordinated action, globally, against religious discrimination imposed by the WTS?
A good question.
This January 21, 2010, we can start from January 1, 2010, onward, a day commemorated in Brazil against Religious Intolerance,
institutionalized by the President of the Republic. On this day, inter-religious forums promote demonstrations
in various state capitals. Last year disasfellowshipped ones took the oportuunity to demonstrate at an important location
in the capital of Fortaleza. We handed out a note to the general population denouncing the social ostracism
that the Watchtower Society has prepertrated against ex-members. However, and it would seem obvious, wouldn’t it be
a good idea from this point on for us to contact disfellowshipped people whom we are aware of and propose this idea to them? Some Final Thoughts From Sebastian: As I said
at the start, I do appreciate the opportunity and the space that was so kindly granted. I call upon those who come to access
this material to not be intimidated, not to forget to keep on fighting. Let us unite our forces. The Watchtower Society and
the authorities will only heed our groaning when they hear our voices chanting hoarsely in the streets. Seek out social organizations,
churches, trade unions, human rights groups, etc ... I am looking at a historic gathering that occured on December 1 in Italy,
and I hope to see you very soon. Therefore, in a word: denounce, denounce, denounce in order to end this injustice
.
“What worries me is not the outcry of those who do evil. It is the silence of good people.”
(Martin Luther King) Well, Sebastian.
Your bringing the discrimination that we suffer to the attention of the media has already won a great victory! Please
continue to give us information as things change, and stay welcome to see the Six Screens of the Watchtower http://www.sixscreensofthewatchtower.com. Keep waving the flag of victory as we all move forward! And please
never forget that we are all very, very proud of you and our other friends there in Brazil! Sebastian also notes: See published articles in favor

Social Entities are protesting
the decision of the TJCE (Court) - Campaign against religious discrimination hitting the streets After the first disclosure of the complaint through
billboards, made in August, the case has become more visible in society and, in turn, broadened the debate, even among union
members, for fear of seeing more workers in the future could be punished by calls to bully them.
The groups that
make up the Forum of Religious Diversity at Cearense, once again, resume their campaign for constitutional rights and religious
tolerance. On September 16, Thursday, there was a rally outside the Court of Ceará to reaffirm that
the authorities will not give up their fight against religious discrimination under which former members of the Church of
Jehovah's Witnesses suffer. During the speeches by their representatives, it was said that magistrates should reevaluate
their best decision that suspended the action against the pastors, in view of the fact that the process had been built in
the light of a police inquiry, prosecutor, and finally, that the Judge dealing with the complaint is embraced by the 6th Criminal
Court. We were privileged to have with us the presence of a dissident couple who came from Sao Paulo to Fortaleza to know
more about our movement against religious discrimination that was on the agenda.
After the first disclosure of
the complaint through billboards, made in August, the case became more visible in society and, in turn, broadened the debate,
even among union members, out of fear that in the future more workers may be persecuted by such bullying. It was no accident
that the lawyers of the Office Frei Tito de Alencar, linked to the Human Rights Commission of the Legislative Assembly of
Ceará State, said that the extinction of the action results in a risk to organizations of civil society organizations.
To Wit:
"Thus, this Office is made
available for any clarifications on the case, manifesting itself in order that Ceare make repair to the mistake that was caused,
so that civil society organizations can protect themselves from unlawful acts committed within the Religious Associations
and in view that the Brazilian State guarantees to all, in addition to the freedom of worship, equal opportunities to live
and relate socially. "
Before the implacement of attorneys who are preparing a petition in order to appeal
the decision of the Court, the Religious Diversity Forum of Ceare, through its participants, definitely resolved once more
to publicize the event through billboards, to inform society that religious discrimination continues to be applied against
the individual liberties of the people.
Two billboards were installed in public areas of Fortaleza on 17/09/210,
one in Avenida Santos Dumont. Noteworthy, there is spectacular lighting in that location, and moreover, there are spotlights
above the billboard, not counting that the same is near a traffic light. Another billboard was installed at the exit of the
Administrative Center of the State Government - Cambeba - where the Court is also located. Additional billboards are being
installed at strategic points in the town.
Entities that support the movement: the Forum of Former Jehovah's
Witnesses, Religious Diversity Forum of Ceara; DCE - Central Directory of UFC Students; the Afro-Brazilian Cultural Association
- ALABGA; UNEGRO – the Union of Blacks for Equality; Afoxé Acabaca; National Secretariat of the Black Movement
- PDT; FENEECE: the State Forum of Black Entities of Ceará, among others.
The Stand of the Human Rights
Office
In a statement, the Office of Human Rights and Legal Persons, via Frei Tito de Alencar has said it
is surprised by the decision of the TJCE ruling for the locking action.
Read the note from the Office of Human
Rights in its entirety
NOTICE RE THE CASE OF RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE
The Office of Human Rights and Legal
Persons -- Frei Tito de Alencar, linked to the Human Rights Committee of the Legislative Assembly of Ceará, through

Intolerance promoted by elders of the Church against Jehovah's Witness disfellowshipped members, by preventing them to
continue maintaining contact with friends and relatives still persevering in the Church.
The case was brought to
this office in November of 2009, when he began investigations into the complaint sought, from the police inquiry, and on April
14 this year, the State Prosecutor promoted complaint, if it be rightly understood in its dealing with the offense described
by art. 14 of the Act of Racism (Federal Law No. 7.716/89), which provides: "Section 14. Prevention or impediment, in
any form or manner, to marriage or family and social relations. Penalty: imprisonment from two to four years. "
Similarly, the Criminal Judge received the complaint and told the elders to present their defense. Thus, the defendants
filed a Habeas Corpus before the Court of the State demanding the closing of the criminal action. This habeas corpus was granted
and dismissed on August 31, 2010.
The social repercussions of the case is indisputable, so that it has stirred
much visibility in the gathering of testimony from several former members of the religion witnessing the discrimination, as
well as through the Interreligious Forum that discusses the theme and the inclusion of the theme in various media .
Certainly, no one raises issue with the criteria for being excommunicated from the Church, nor the freedom of belief or
religious interpretation. However, the transcendant fact is clear: being unable to maintain good relations with family and
friends because of religious reasons, ie, disassociation from the Church. It is considered therefore that this case fits in
its dimensions appropriate to the offense as laid out.
Notice that this deals not merely with two members of the
religion, it brings to bear strong psychological pressure and a campaign waged against the disfellowshipped. Moreover, the
right to social life and family is Constitutionally guaranteed, and no citizen shall be deprived of its exercise, perhaps
by the orders of religious bodies which seek to punish only those who are no longer part of them.
Thus, this Office
is made available for any clarifications on the case, manifesting itself in order that Ceara’s justice repair the mistake
caused, so that civil society organizations can protect themselves from unlawful acts committed within the Brazilian State
and Religious Associations guaranteeing unto all, besides the freedom of worship, also equal opportunities to live and relate
socially.

WATCHTOWER SOCIETY OVER JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES
HAS MAJOR FINANCIAL DEFEAT IN GERMANY DUE TO POLICIES HARMFUL TO OWN MEMBERS AND ALSO THE EX-JWs THEY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST
Stuttgart - With their "Watchtower" and "Awake" magazines,
Jehovah's Witnesses have been able to proselytize in residential areas and pedestrian zones. However they have not been
able to convince state level politicians.
For now Jehovah's Witnesses can forget about being put on the same
footing as the Christian churches in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The CDU-FDP government in Stuttgart, as our newspaper learned Wednesday,
has now definitely decided to refuse state approval for the controversial religious community. "The Cabinet has decided
to reject the application Jehovah's Witnesses for the benefit rights of an incorporated boy," said a spokeswoman
for the Ministry of Culture, upon an inquiry from our newspaper. "We are in the process, of working closely on this decision
with the Ministry of Justice, and will subsequently be serving notice to the Jehovah's Witnesses." The relevant Cabinet
decision dated December 20 has yet to be made public.
It is expected that the faith community which claims 28,000
members in Baden-Württemberg, will act against the decision. The last word may have to be from the Administrative Court
(VGH) in Mannheim. The state government justified its rejection based upon doubts that the faith community is in known opposition
to state in being skeptical or hostile toward it, they not being supposed to even take part in elections. Furthermore, even
family members are even supposed to break contact off with disfellowshipped members, by which doing the country is affected,
according to a report by the Justice Department, such that "the fundamental right to respect for family life and marriage"
and the basic right to religious freedom are affected. Moreover, the religious community by refusal of blood transfusions
risks the "life and limb of minor children and young people."
Recognition as a public body would have
given advantages to the Jehovah's Witnesses, enabling them to pay less in taxes and administrative fees. In addition,
they then would have gone partially out of state control, could even have imposed a church tax and would like the Protestant
and Catholic Church have had the right to sit on boards for public service broadcasting.
The expected lawsuit
in Baden-Württemberg Germany should get attention across the nation. Twelve of the sixteen states, had to now legally
upgraded Jehovah's Witnesses at their request because they had seen no other recourse, despite their concerns. The
Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Education wanted to get involved but met widespread opposition in Parliament. Also,
Rhineland-Pfalz, Bremen and North Rhine-Westphalia have refrained from giving legal recognition.
Those German
states that capitulated, referred to above all, a supposedly ground-breaking decision of the Berlin Higher Administrative
Court, by which Jehovah's Witnesses in 2006 had won after almost 15 years of litigation the status of a public body. According
to the state government in Stuttgart, the Berlin-based judges have only partially shed light on inner lives of the community.
They have for example waived interviewing those who have left the JWs The Justice Ministry in Stuttgart has done so, however
in the course of compiling its report. If the Administrative Court (VGH) in Mannheim reach a different verdict than their colleagues
in Berlin, the Jehovah's Witnesses would be deprived of their status, probably in most states again. However, matters
are expected to again take years before final resolution. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/204965/1/Article-about-the-JWs-German-speaking
COMMENTS: In other words the authorities looked in and discovered Watchtower
pressures members to not vote, bleeds some to death, destroys families by cruel discrimination, etc. It appears that
testimony from former members of Jehovah's Witnesses was a major reason Watchtower lost the right to win recognition and
with it pay less to no taxed, be able to levy their own church taxes etc.

The following is a posting of encouragement from Roberto de Stefano of Italy to Rick Fearon of Massachusetts
(USA):

Well done Rick! I know, one may feel discouraged by the tiny number of protesters. But what really counts is
that these public protests have started. We in Italy didn’t know earlier last year that there was the Brazilians had decided to
organize their protest to take place on January 21st. We had our in Rome, in front of the Italian Parliament on December 1st.
The reason we had it then rather than now is that our objective was to counter a law project which was being examined by the
Parliament exactly during that period, in order to prevent its acceptance. That law would give larger freedom to the Watchtower
in that country with several added privileges, one of which is collecting 0.8% of the income taxes for the Watchtower “social”
values. We
had a chance to give two conferences publicly on the square in front of the Parliament. The first was by Achille Aveta who
is a long time dissident, who participated in the translation of Ray Franz, Jim Penton and Carl Olof Jonsson books. I was
the second speaker to expose this crime against the freedoms granted by the Italian Constitution and the Declaration of the
Human Rights. Reference was made to the Brasilian manifestations and court case which took place already last year, and the
court case in Belgium, which after three levels of judgment, as to be re-examined by the appeal court next month of April. We take these initiatives
seriously, as it is only by widening the protest that we will be heard. This is why, the manifestation in Rome was preceded
by TV interviews one of which lasted an hour and was followed by several TV programs to explain why we did hold the manifestation.
This has created a reaction from the WT branch office in Rome who wrote to the TV owner trying to intimidate them. But even
after this intimidation letter, a new interview took place in the same TV station. Thousands of tracts exposing the WT in this discrimination issue were distributed in Rome that day and in the following
weeks, on the public squares. This tract distribution has continued during the month of December and January
in other Italian cities. Not to let the fire die, we plan other initiatives during the year in Italy. Our next meeting, with people
coming from all over the country will take place in March in one of the large Italian cities. We got support even from the
local Police Union ! During my conference in Rome, I proposed people to join me in the protest against the WT ostracism during the trial
in Belgium which will take place I April. Some of the attendees have expressed their interest, even if this will mean traveling
far at their own costs. I am in contact now with the dissidents in Belgium and in France and will try to get the protest going during the
trial.
It is not the NUMBER of people participating in the manifestations that is really the key. We NEVER had any
manifestation in the past, and now, in spite of the relative small number of participants we have had our FIRST one! The fact
that we had our fist one give us the motivation to continue, getting more and more attention and participation as people start
to be more bold. This is why we encourage you not to be defeatist and stop even before you start, but to stand up and get together
with others who have the same motivation and plan your next move. I personally believe that we should get our act together internationally, setting
up a kind of organized group to start at least by exchanging ideas, plans, experiences and in the long run be a strong entity
standing up against the Watchtower. Expectations need to be managed. No one in its sane mind could expect that from one day to another things
will change, nor should we expect to take down the WT. Our aim should be a clear and loud voice to let the public opinion know about the dangers of
becoming a JW. We should not fight the disfellowshipping provision. Any entity has the right to establish its entrance and
expulsion procedures and principles. But NO ONE has the right to teach its members to hate their ex members , ostracizing
them and discriminating them. At least in Europe this is against the law, but unfortunately when the WT organization has been
“recognized” as a religion in most European countries, this issue was NEVER brought up by opponents. The only
earlier issues were blood, military service and political elections, but the discrimination issue was never brought up before. The court cases in Brazil
and in Belgium are probably the first ones where “discrimination” is the charge against the WT. I don’t
know what the case is in the USA, but if we do not try we will never know.
