U.S. PRESIDENT DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER Dwight David Eisenhower Eisenhower's family home in Abilene, Kansas Dwight Eisenhower was a U.S. President and famous World War II military general who grew up in a Jehovah's Witness-Bible Students family.  Many biographers have tried to hide this fact saying for example that the family were River Brethern or downplayed the significance by claiming (falsely) that his mother was the only one involved with Jehovah's Witnesses and at that only when she was very elderly.  The online encyclopedia Wikipedia.org has said: "When Eisenhower was a child, his mother Ida Elizabeth Stover Eisenhower, previously a member of the River Brethren sect of the Mennonites, joined the International Bible Students, which would evolve into what is now known as Jehovah's Witnesses. The Eisenhower home served as the local meeting hall from 1896 to 1915 but Ike never joined the Witnesses.[9] His decision to attend West Point saddened his mother, who felt that warfare was "rather wicked," but she did not overrule him.[10]  Eisenhower was baptized in the Presbyterian Church in 1953. In 1948, he had called himself "one of the most deeply religious men I know" though unattached to any "sect or organization".[11] The preceding is all true but seems to imply that only his mother was a Jehovah's Witness.  His father, David, had been an elder or Bible study conductor twenty years until after 1915.  He quit in part because Watchtower wrongly predicted that 1914 would bring Armageddon followed by paradise earth.  Thereafter he was a general Christian although with some Bible Student influence.  The Watchtower organization would split into two branches in 1917 that would later become called the Jehovah's Witnesses and the rival Bible Students.   To appease his wife he sometimes went with her and after his death she arranged a Jehovah's Witness funeral for him. The Bible Students who besides Watchtower thus influenced Dwight Eisenhower when young still exist in the U.S. and globally but are lesser known as most meet in homes and witness (preach) more often informally than door-to-door.  Unlike Watchtower they do not preach against all the holidays or emergency use of blood transfusions.  They preach that Christ died for all mankind not a literal 144,000 or their own group, do not severely shun or discriminate against former members, consider as brothers and sisters in Christ most who hold and teach as to views especially as to "non-essentials."  Dwight D. Eisenhower did much more than command Allied forces in Europe during World War II including the successful invasion of Nazi-held France and Germany, etc.  In 1951 he became the first commander of NATO.  He also began the NASA space program and the federal interstate highways system of the United States which has done so much to help the economy.  During his tenure as President the words "under God" were added to the U.S. pledge of allegiance, he began holding Prayer Breakfasts and showed great respect for all the churches. History has thus far ranked Dwight D. WHERE PRINCE LIVES, WITNESSING ETC At different times he has had homes in places as wide-spread as Spain and Minnesota.  While performing at Rio Las Vegas, in Las Vegas, Nevada, he has lived in a nearby trailer making it easy to perform at the Club 3121 there at 3700 W. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89103.  Of course when on tour his residence varies even more.  He attends different kingdom halls as he moves about.  His amount of field service time is not known, but given his busy schedule is probably not all that many hours on the average.  As with Michael Jackson and the Williams sisters, he is said to get by with doing some things that regular Jehovah's Witnesses cannot.  He does seem to sincere in the practicing of his beliefs.  He and a former wife lost a child, so that must figure prominently in his spiritual wishes for the future.
